1. The service
My Sori ("the app") records singing practice, measures values such as range and pitch stability from those recordings, and shows how they change over time. By installing and using the app you agree to these terms.
2. Accounts
Every feature works without an account. Signing in with Apple or Google links the device you use to an account so that a subscription and a few settings can follow you to other devices. The account can be deleted from within the app at any time. Keeping the account secure (for example the provider's password) is your responsibility.
3. Your recordings and content
- Recordings and the information attached to them are yours. The operator processes them only as needed for analysis and for providing the service, and deletes them as the privacy policy says.
- How you use recordings that contain other people's works, such as backing tracks or lyrics, is your responsibility. The app exists for your own practice record and is not for distributing other people's works.
- Anything you export with the sharing feature is shared by you.
4. About the measurements
What the app shows is measured from the recording; it is not a score or a judgement. Values can vary with the room, the backing track and the microphone, and their accuracy is not guaranteed. They are not for medical or health decisions. If your throat hurts or feels wrong, see a professional.
5. Subscription (My Sori+)
- Prices and periods are as shown in the App Store or Google Play.
- Unless cancelled, the subscription renews automatically through your store account at the end of each period. Cancel in the store's subscription settings; after cancelling, the paid period remains usable until it ends.
- Refunds follow each store's policy.
- Recording is unlimited on the free plan. Server analysis may have a daily limit; the app says so.
- What the subscription includes may grow and may change for operational reasons; changes are announced in the app.
6. What not to do
- Overloading the service or interfering with other users
- Circumventing the security of the server or the app, or using another person's account or device identifier
- Sending content that breaks the law
7. Changes to and ending the service
The operator may add, change or end features. If the service is ended, notice is given in advance and a period is allowed for exporting recordings from the device. Recordings on the device remain after the service ends.
8. Limitation of liability
The app is provided as is. Except for intent or gross negligence, the operator is not liable for damage arising from use of the app. To the extent the law allows, the operator's liability is limited to what you paid the operator in the preceding 12 months. Mandatory consumer protection rules take precedence.
9. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of (to be decided). Please contact (to be decided) first to resolve a dispute; failing that, the courts of (to be decided) have jurisdiction. Where the consumer protection rules of your country of residence are more favourable, they apply.
10. Changes
Changes to these terms are announced in the app and the version and date are updated. Material changes ask for your agreement again.
